The Best Workout of the Week

WORKOUT OF THE WEEK 🔥

Summer is nearly over, we wanted to give you a workout to try so you can stay motivated on your fitness journey.

This functional workout will target your FULL BODY in a short amount of time (without requiring too much equipment). You can do this workout anywhere, obviously your local Stepz Fitness gym is best 😉.

The below program is focused on building stronger, more functional and healthy bodies. A direct result of this is a leaner, more aesthetic YOU with endless energy for more work or more play.

This workout is not easy, so please work within your own physical boundaries. You will be better tomorrow for just giving it a go!

1️⃣ KB Bosu Lunges – 10 reps on each leg. Tip – Keep your knee in line with you toe.

2️⃣ Resistance Band Deadlift – 10 – 15 reps. Tip- Using the resistance band will help increase explosiveness/strength in your glutes and hips. It also means you do not have to spend your workout adding/removing weights to the bar.

3️⃣ Dumbbell Alternative Raises – 20 reps in total. This exercise uses your core and activates your posterior chain. It also strengthens your external rotators.

4️⃣ Resistance Band Push-ups – 10 – 12 reps. Tip – this exercises promotes shoulder health and progression as a good alternative to weighted chest exercises.

5️⃣ Bench Hops – 1 minute. Tip – you can also do this at the end of the bench if needed. Aim for maximum repetitions within the one minute.

💧Take a 1 to 2 minute break once you’ve completed the above workout set in sequence. Then repeat as many times as you like. Set a goal of 5 full sets in one workout.
